That part rarely fails to operate. It's reliable. However, a lot of Jeepers scratch the lens or break its clips while trying to open it without using a fork-shape wedge or serrated knife tool. Since you are ordering a brand-new dome light, it’s the right time to increase the level of interior illumination and get rid of the yellow color as well. I’m personally using two Sealight Super Bright LEDBulbs (X001ND6887).
